This painting is a portrait of a turtle in the ocean. The movements of the water and the features of the turtle were created with black acrylic. The background is metallic gold, so it has different light reflections and shadows based on the light hitting it. This turtle is swimming towards the viewer and appears to be stepping out of the painting. This painting was made during my exhibition and live painting in Sardinia.
