The protagonist of this painting is a polar bear on one of the few pieces of ice left on the poles due to global warming. The planet is warming up and is visible from the background in shades of yellow and from the drops that represent one of the consequences, the melting of the glaciers.
There are some beach umbrellas fixed on some small floating blocks of ice to highlight the seriousness of the problem. Each of us must realize that the Earth is our home and that of future generations, we can no longer live selfishly. We see the consequences day by day, sea level rise, hurricanes, storms, droughts, etc.
In the center of the painting the inscription “Don't melt them” (let's save these animals from extinction), placed on a leaflet that has long been ignored, trampled on, crumpled up and thrown away, and that I wanted to fix with duct tape and put it on display so that everyone can read it. Many tear up these messages without giving them any value, instead we need to change the situation, all together, from all over the world.
