This painting features a leopard in profile. I wanted to highlight his features, his spots on the coat and his intense gaze towards something or someone in the upper right corner. The background is metallic silver which creates different shades and shadows based on the light that hits it. I have made many paintings with the leopard as the protagonist, this is because it is my favorite animal and I like to portray it in many different poses.
