The protagonist of this painting is a beautiful yellow-blue macaw parrot. I have always liked parrots for their colors and their elegance. In this portrait you can clearly see the nuances of its feathers and the reflections of light. His gaze is directed at the viewer, he is happy to be observed, he feels beautiful and charming. For the background I chose to use a technique that I really like, that is to combine small rectangles of different colors, in this case pink and fuchsia.
