The protagonist of this painting is an adult lion. I wanted to highlight his features, his fantastic mane and his intense gaze towards something or someone in front of him. The background is metallic gold which allows you to create different shades and shadows based on the light that hits it. I have made many paintings with the lion as the protagonist, this is because it is an animal that I really like, it is elegant and charming.
