This painting is part of the collection of my flamenco-themed paintings made during the exhibitions at the Hotel Gran Melia in Tenerife.
The protagonist of this painting is a classical guitar, used to create the basic melodies of flamenco dances, it is positioned on a wooden chair with a straw seat. A small branch with some green leaves goes around the guitar frets. The guitarist's traditional black hat is placed on a corner of the back of the chair. A red Hibiscus flower recalls the bright colors of the flamenco dancers' dresses, while in the background stands an imposing tall green cactus. Il prato verde è realizzato con una tecnica mista ed è in rilievo.
