This painting is part of the collection of my flamenco-themed paintings made during the exhibitions at the Hotel Gran Melia in Tenerife.
The protagonist of this painting is a beautiful woman with blue eyes gazing at the viewer. A hint of a smile graces her red lips, while one hand gracefully holds a large flamenco-style hat, red with white polka dots on black stripes. An earring shaped like a flower echoes the floral embroidery on her dress. The yellow background is enlivened by strips of various colors, adding brightness and character to the painting, much like the depicted woman.
