The idea for this painting was born while I was visiting a zoo in Tenerife. I immediately thought of including in the painting the colorful parrots that I had taken during the day. In the background the houses of Menton that I had been impressed by last summer. So I tied the two things so that the parrots would reflect the colors used to paint the city.
