The idea for this painting came from the desire to create a three-dimensional scene. The protagonists are fantastic blue butterflies surrounded by the colors of flowers, pink, a part of gold and the green of the grass. To create the background I used recycled paper that seems to come out of the painting. As for the butterflies, they are portrayed in a particular position which creates a three-dimensional effect even if they are painted on a flat surface, the canvas.
