This painting is the portrait of Annalisa, a very famous Italian singer. I had been looking for a face to portray for a long time and when I saw one of her latest published photos, I knew it was what I was looking for. Initially I created the pencil drawing on paper and then I thought about painting it on canvas, and this is the result. I wanted to paint very freely and quickly, inspired by music and colours. Her green eyes look at the viewer and convey the beauty and energy of the colors.
